Uniform
Pupils attending Vernon Park Primary School and Nursery are expected to maintain a high standard of appearance through the wearing of school uniform. All items of clothing and shoes should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Reception to Year 6
- Grey trousers or shorts
- Grey or navy skirt or pinafore dress
- White or navy polo shirt - No tailored shirts or pale blue polo shirts.
- Navy sweatshirt or cardigan.
- Plain black school shoes.
- Book bag (no rucksacks - we do not have storage space).
- Summer alternative: Pale blue and white striped or checked dress

PE Kit - Reception and Nursery do not require PE Kits
Year 1 to Year 6 should come to school wearing their PE kit on PE days. Additional outdoor clothing should be worn during cold weather (tracksuit pants and sweatshirt).
- Dark shorts
- Round neck plain white T-Shirt
- Indoor - pumps or bare feet
- Outdoor - pumps or trainers
Forest School / Muddy Monday / Outdoor Learning
All children should come to school wearing the clothes listed below on Muddy Monday (Nursery and Reception) and Forest School (Year 1 to Year 6).
- Long sleeve tops
- Long trousers
- Sensible outdoor shoes or Wellington Boots
- Waterproofs as necessary

Nursery Uniform
- Grey or navy trousers, jogging bottoms or shorts
- Grey or navy skirt or pinafore dress
- Black school shoes
- Gold polo shirt
- Gold sweatshirt
- Summer alternative - Yellow and white striped or checked dress

- No Jewellery other than a watch and small stud earrings.
- Hair should be tied back appropriately at all times.
- Non-uniform days: no open-toe shoes or jewellery.
